Nestled within one of Cairo’s most luxurious compounds, this small and narrow backyard presented a unique design challenge: to create a landscape that balances functionality with refined beauty despite spatial constraints. Adding to the complexity was a 5-meter-high rear fence that limited sunlight exposure for most of the day, requiring a thoughtful approach to plant selection.

Our team carefully curated a palette of shade-tolerant and resilient plant species, including productive fruit trees and edible herbs that support the villa’s daily needs, blending practicality with lush greenery. As night falls, the interplay between subtle lighting, fragrant plants, and the villa’s interior creates a rich and inviting atmosphere—transforming the compact outdoor space into a tranquil sanctuary.

A standout feature of the design is the innovative integration of infinity-edge pools with the graded backyard terrain, establishing a seamless, borderless visual connection between the garden and the breathtaking valley beyond. This harmonious design maximizes every inch of space, delivering a luxurious and immersive outdoor experience.
