Nestled approximately 35 kilometers west of downtown Cairo, in an area witnessing rapid new developments, lies a project site that spans an impressive 334 feddans. This expansive tract of relatively flat, low-lying land is strategically positioned adjacent to the Al-Dabaa Corridor and in close proximity to the Cairo-Alex Desert Road. Surrounded by unoccupied land and other emerging projects from various developers, this site presented a unique opportunity for innovative landscape design and master planning.
Schaduf took on the ambitious task of overseeing the overall master planning of this vast community, along with the intricate landscape design, based on a concept by SB Architects. From the initial schematic design to the preparation of tender documents, our team meticulously crafted a vision that harmonizes with the natural terrain while promoting sustainable development.
One of the iconic features of this project is the seamless integration of green spaces with urban infrastructure. The design emphasizes the creation of interconnected green corridors that link various parts of the community, promoting biodiversity and providing residents with easy access to nature. These green corridors not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the area but also serve as vital ecological pathways that support local wildlife.
The landscape design incorporates a variety of recreational spaces, such as parks, gardens, and walking trails, encouraging outdoor activities and fostering a sense of community. Water features and shaded areas are strategically placed to create serene and comfortable environments for relaxation and social interaction. These elements are thoughtfully designed to blend with the natural surroundings, creating a harmonious balance between built and natural environments.
