AZHA CENTRAL PARK

Ain Sokhna
Derived from the Arabic word for bright, lively, and fancy, Azha Sokhna lives up to its name as a breathtaking destination along the Red Sea. Just 12 kilometers from the Ain Sokhna toll station, this 1.6 million square meter coastal development by Madaar Group redefines the luxury seaside lifestyle.
With a 700-meter waterfront, 10 kilometers of beaches, and over 220,000 square meters of glittering water features, Azha’s masterplan artfully blends nature with community. Divided into 21 villages and home to over 1500 residences, the development dedicates an exceptional 89% of its footprint to lush greenery and landscape experiences — a canvas of life, luxury, and connection.
At the heart of it all lies Central Park, designed as a vibrant island between two expansive crystal lagoons. This isn’t just a park — it’s a dynamic social destination shaped by nature’s topography. A natural 3-meter level shift between the lagoons was transformed into a defining feature, giving the park its dual waterfront edges and layered spatial experience.
Under the central pedestrian spine, a series of refined amenities unfolds — lockers, restrooms, storage, and two distinct restaurant concepts that reflect the contrast between the upper and lower lagoon levels.
More than just solving elevation, the design leverages it. Central Park becomes a journey: across pedestrian bridges, along lively walkways, through lush terraces — all seamlessly connecting the surrounding community to the rhythm of the Red Sea.
Schaduf’s landscape vision here turns constraints into character, sculpting a park that doesn’t sit between two lagoons — it belongs to both.
